New face of Delhi Traffic Police

I am back...with my another blog..and this is going to be real short one...as last one was quite long.. ;) and friends were quite complaining at that time.. :).. well getting on to the blog..I saw real new face of Delhi Traffic police last week...and surprisingly this was on positive side...which shocked me completely...however, this is not the case that those people in white or Khaki never do good to the public..but this time it seemed to be really out of expectation...
Before coming on to the recent incidence let me take you people six months back..and my rendezvous with Delhi traffic police (DTP) in December 2009...I was on Hazrat Nizammudin Railway Station...and was looking for Auto to my home...and every one was asking huge fare to come there and some was denying completely...they were not even ready to come even after taking pre paid....in the end..I complained to DTP but response was really horrible...instead of helping me out...these guys ignored the fact completely and said.."We can't do anything...We can't help you.." ...this was shocking..not because it was not expected completely but this much ...huhhh...well after waiting for 3 hrs on the station...i returned the prepaid receipt and took EMU (local train) from station..to New Delhi railway station and from their caught the Auto and to home...the whole odyssey took almost 5 hrs.. :(


Coming on to the current incidence....Last week I was on the same station...horrified with the last incidence...scared...get out of the station....and again same things started repeating..huge fares...and denial by Autowalas...shocking..still a hope.....nd that hope suddenly got enlightened...I saw a DTP officer...helping people getting Autos on Pre Paid...that guy most probably in his late 20s only was helping everyone who is asking for help for getting Autos and he trashed few Autowalas there immediately for not plying on meter or making false excuses of "less CNG".........We asked for help...and my father was like trashing that poor DTP officer there only....and that DTP officer was simply like "Uncle..Uncle...aap pre paid leke aao...mein auto karwata hun..."...we were not in any condition to believe..but still we had no option...so we get pre paid and in a meanwhile DTP officer had left the place...and asked us to come to other side.. we went there and he got us auto...and that Autowala made excuse that he has no CNG...DTP officer checked the CNG level and asked us to come and ply another Auto...and finally that has everything...CNG...air in tyres...

Well friends, I never saw such a face...such attitude from my so much encounters with Delhi Police... :)....I don't know..whether that guy was a lotus on mud...or what...don't know...but that gave me new experience altogether...and new feeling of being a Delhite....or the face of DTP is changing as a whole....but still its good to see these changes....hats off to that guy..

hope this was not as big as last one......will come up with my experience on my summer vacations..and internship..shortly..till then..bbye...take care..and keep smiling..

Leaving Blank this time...

Hello all...I am back here to tease you with my another blog...I don't know what it is going to be...leaving this blog's title free...and don't know either what is going to be the end of this blog...just wanted to express myself from different aspects and coming up with the same only...kahan se shuru karen...kuch nahi pata...since my last blog..its over two months...and lot happened in those two months...intra deptt. functions..two exams...lot of presentations...lot of tensions around...lot of fights...lot of disputes...lot of sleep (even 14 hrs in a day)....lot of late nights...lot of friendly talks....and lot of lovely talks as well :J ...and all these things were quite enough to keep me busy through out two months...Those two months gave me chance to learn new things...both academically and behaviorally...but how much I gathered..that I know only...;)..:P...however...kuch kuch sab ke bare mein likhte hain...

pehele shuru karte hain functions ki kahaniyon se...whenever our department gathers and celebrate any festival...its gonna real fun...ab HOLI ka hi example lelo...kya to nahi kiya...jo kar sakte the sab kiya....enjoyed to the greatest level... "vo matki phodna...vo chehro ka rangna...vo kursi ke liye daudna...aur matki leke photo khinchwana...vo doston ka sath mein Nachna...fir safai karke...choclate khana..."...everyone was in great mood...the holi celebration also made few separated hearts...getting together as one.......Next function which happened was "Kha - Galiya" oopss no no its "Regalia"...sorry yaar..it was like see-saw between "kha-galiya" and "regalia"...and the organiser of the function made me "Muneem" (accountant)...and its real fun collecting money from classmates for organising the function... fun????..eeeeee...yaar..actually I am confused..this function is the one...which was really a good learning for me....chalo...leave it...was a good one...and its all well when it ends well... :)....

next comes the turn of presentations....presentations..report submission...all these are part of academic life...now I should not crib about this here..but u know faltoo presentations...faltoo reports...and out of that no feedback on that again...teachers padte bhi hain ya nahi...vo bhi nahi pata...bas raddi ikatthe karwate rehte hain...yeh bhi nahi pata...marks ka kya basis hota hai..nahin pata.(for few we know..but majority we are always blank )...ab rone se kya faida hoga pata nahi..ab meri writing kisi ladki ki tareh to acchi ho nahi jayegi...ya mein kisi ki tareh panne bhar ke assignment to likh nahi paunga...bas itna jarur kar sakta hun kisi ka copy karlunga agli baari se...kam se kam isi mein half mark ka to frak aa hi jayega.. :P....bas khatam karo yeh
assignment ka chakkar...:(

ab agli kahani exams ki le leete hain...aur ismein baki ki kahaniyan jod denge...kyunki baki ki kahaniyan exams ki kahaniyon se hi jud jati hain...waise exams are the best time to sleep according to me...coz the time u open a book..u will see the "dancing words"...which is going where..u can't understand...and the time u actually think of trying to arrange those jumbled words in ur mind....u start feeling really sleepy...and i love that...I really slept for 14 hrs in a day during exam time...nd in normal I sleep just for 7-8 hrs...thanks to exams...huhhh...exams always give me tensions...pata hi nahi hota kya padna hota hai...aur sochta hun padne ka koi faida to hota nahi.. kyunki end of the day question paper will be out of this world...and I won't be able to solve a single problem myself..without asking it from my neighbor..and that happened in this exam...i have to rely on my neighbours a lot...and that is where I landed in those great friendly talks mentioned above...exam time changed my biological cycle completely ..sham ko exam deke aana fir so jana...aur raat ko 2 baje uthna...aur 4 baje fir so jana...that way it become seriously late nights for me...i always feel that why a person should wake up such late just to study...yee..i hate this kind of structure...aur upper se hamare yahan relative marking system..just taking toll of everything...apne number se jyada..dusre ke kam numbers pe dhyan jata hai....kitne tumhare niche hain..that shows what grade u r going to get...ab this lends u in lot of
disputes and fights...with those with whom u were quite friendly and lovely..and these become ur target immediately...sad but true... :)

hamari gadi yun hi khisakti rahegi...
na jane kin raho pe hum atak jayen..
isliye yeh yaadein ikatthi hoti rahengi...

Our nation Pride......Indian Hockey...

It is almost a month since I wrote my last blog....but there was not quite ny update during last month...except the fact..that there was mid-term break..nd holi...nd nothing else....even I don't know the title of this blog...I asked my friends about the idea...but they have suggested some really spicy topics.... ;)....now I can not write on those topics....but I can surely thinkto write on our national game and its team..INDIAN HOCKEY.....

If you go by history of Indian hockey...at the time of Major Dhyan Chand...we were on the peak...and no nation in the world could topple us....but history is history and present is present...

I have been listening about Indian hockey for no less than last 10 years...and not a single time I come across any good thing about it....whether it is a issue with dhanraj pillay...or it is issue of their payscale...it is in issue at all the time...not a major victory in last 10 years....well Mr. Shahrukh Khan had tried to improve its status by his movie "Chak de"..its quite a good movie..but that too could not work for long...and we are still not on the right path....we have now foreign coaches for the team...foreing physio and all the basic amenites which a dedicated and committed player need to have but you know its politics everywhere.....team has refused to play in world cup for their payscale issue....but how they turn up for playing the game its all internal and never come in front of media....

Well...media se dhyan aaya...during this world cup in India...media and advertising companies have tried lot to improve the status and tried to motivate the team by various means...par chikna ghada to Chikna hi hota hai...unhe koi frak to padta hi nahi hai......Similarly our indian team...chahe shahrukh ki movie dikha lo...ya unke liye ad banado...unhe koi frak nahi padta....unhe to sirf politics aur strikes aur issues create karne mein maja aata hai.....ab koi kab tak kisi ka dhyan rakhe....kisi ko koi kab tak samjhaye.....ab unhe har tournament mein last ke 2 position acche lagte hai to sahi hai...aur dekha jaye to sahi hi hai...at least vo 7th postion pe aate hai to kam se kam apne naam pe ek lucky number to leke aate hai.....nahi to yeh bhi naseeb na ho...

But I will still support Indian Hockey not for its politics, issues or any negative thinking...but in the memory of those golden days....when Major Dhyanchand used to play......Go on Indian Hockey...you will overcome one day..............Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Witnessing the Miracle - Double century of Sir ji....

Yes..i will not call it anything less than a miracle...or you can say not everyone gets chance to witness such things live even in their life time...I was lucky..that I got such a chance and that too with most of my class mates in IIT...

Yes..I am very happy to say myself as Indian as I am from the land where Sachin Tendulkar born...This day has left its presence in the history of World cricket...

Well this also makes the whole lot of boring day with all the classes beginning from 10:00 AM in the morning with boring presentations...and my boring task was to ask genuine questions so that presentation gets dragged so that my turn won't come sooner.... well...thanks to my dear friend Jassi who was caught red handed by our HOD while asking score on mobile phone in the class...and our generous HOD left the class well in time so that we can witness the miracle...On one Hand... we have class of Business Statistics and other hand we have miracle waiting for us....and we chose for miracle....

The time we entered UG club...the atmosphere has already been set...with Sir ji and Dhoni was on strike...only 5 overs were left and Sachin was on 183..Great chances were there that Sachin would be able to complete his Double Century well in next 2 -3 overs...and the chants "Sachin...Sachin...Sachin..." surrounds the whole IIT ...the fantastic moment...the real IIT was there....

but our Captain ji Mr. Dhoni...made it little bit challenging for Sir ji..I am not saying that he is not playing..Dhoni was playing well but he was on strike most of the times...and it was 46th over...sir ji crossed his previous best of 186 in this over and scored 189 runs..Dhoni was striking ball like anything else...and took run on last ball....

Over 47...Dhoni on Strike...1st ball- goes for six.....sir ji came on strike in between...scored few runs..and Dhoni took run on last ball again.. when earlier chants were "Sachin..Sachin.." Now it has been changed to "Dhoni - Hye Hye...Dhoni Hye Hye..." despite of the fact he was playing well... poor Dhoni..

atmosphere was tense but enjoying...In over 48..sir ji crossed the previous best of 194 and scored 196 runs by the end of 48 over...everyone was delighted....everyone was on high...one chair was trying to accommodate 2-2 persons...and its amazing...chants again begin..."Sachin...Sachin...." everyone got an eye on Sachin's 200...but as I earlier mentioned...hamare pyare, bhole se...doodh peete bacche..Mr. Dhoni is repeating what Mr. Karthik did some time ago....came in between Sachin and his century...in this case Double century...

In 49 th over Sachin reached to 199 and Dhoni reached its 50..its a half century..its a happiness for him...but sad for all Indians as he was the only Deewar between sir ji and his double century..."Dhoni- Hye Hye.. Dhoni - Hye Hye.."...Feelings of people started to come...Sala, Bahin****..., Hara*****........chalo koi nahi...fir bhi ek ummeed...ek over....aur sirf ek run...baki tha...lekin who knows what is going to happen next....

50th Over...last over of innings...first ball...Dhoni on Strike...and its a six....Next ball...the ball was hit towards mid wicket...and it was supposed to be four...but suddenly...Hashim Amla...became angel for every Indian as he come in between the ball and the boundary...and Dhoni had to contend with Single only...every Indian gave lots of blessings to our main contender Hashim Amla at that time....as now Sachin is on strike....next delievery...ball was way outside off stump...sachin just push it in point region..and ran for single....and its double century...its a miracle...chairs were again on tensile testing...now each chair has to bear the burden of 3 persons each....and chants were not stopping...claps all the way...and every Indian must be feeling proud to be a Indian...

Sachin, you have again put India on top of the world....the one Man Army for Indian Cricket Team...Salute to you...and Wish you good luck on behalf of whole Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee.....

My first blog....Life at IIT Roorkee

hmmm....you know writing a blog is really really very difficult..it is like getting time to write something which is not in your mind but in your heart....ab jab se IIT R mein admission hua hai jab se to bas kya batayein...life is all miserable...kya career growth...kya MBA...after some time you feel its better to remain in Job rather than doing MBA..waise there are lot of benefits of being in IIT R...

first one is that you will regularly keep on doing exercise....you do not do breakfast early in the morning and you have to drive bicycle for about 1 km to your department...weight reducing..u know.... :)

Second thing is library...it is the best place to take your girlfriend out there and do some serious time pass...na..na..it is not like that that people don't read books there in the library....but what kind of books they read..only they know.;)...

Third thing is our Department and its teacher...here every teacher is trying to sell himself..."i teach like this", I teach like that...i am doing this event...I am going abroad for presentation...bas yehi sab sunte raho..these are the only things which we are listening here since the time I enter this campus...even you have to strike a balance between cat fight of two teachers.....otherwise one teacher can make u realize that he is better over other one by giving you some unexpected marks...

Fourth is net...net mane internet baba...ab internet ka matlab hota hai jo sab jageh chale...aur yahan bhi internet har jageh chalta hai except our departments, our computer lab, our hostel...etc...

hostel se yaad aaya...Our Cautley..sweet Cautley...this is the fifth unique Item this campus have...ab aapko iske baarein mein kya batayen....
you know this campus is taking lot of care about your health...you have to take a walk of about half kilometer to the mess and then you have to stay in line for another 20 minutes just to earn few pieces of bread...and then you come back by walk and digest the pieces of bread you ate...you know walking is good for health...

ab itna sab kuch bata diya..aur batayein kya.....ab aur dil se kuch nahi nikalta is campus ke liye... bbye...hope to see you in IIT R in next one year at least once... :P
